M Sport seats for driver and front passenger

The M Sport seats with integrated headrests, deep sitting surface and high side and backrest bolsters offer the driver and front passenger improved support, even in fast turns. In addition, the driver's seat and, depending on the equipment, the front passenger seat can be adjusted to your individual body dimensions thanks to the integrated backrest width adjustment.

Ambient Light

Ambient light creates a relaxed, cosy lighting atmosphere in the interior. There are eleven predefined light designs available in six different colours, with contour and ambient lighting on the instrument panel, door trim and centre console.

Harman Kardon Surround Sound System(Optional)

The outstanding Harman Kardon Surround Sound System features a 408-watt digital amplifier, seven channels and twelve speakers. Its sophisticated sound perfectly fills the interior space. Vehicle-specific, speed-dependent equalising precisely compensates for any background driving noise.

Front Design

Through its particularly broad and flat shape, the BMW kidney grille emphasises the sporty stance of the vehicle, while the mesh design inspired by motor racing conveys a special depth and quality.

Side Design

Positioned above the rear wheel arch, the defined character line creates surfaces filled with suspense. The distinctive Air Breather reduces air turbulence and optically underlines the athletic character of the vehicle. And blending harmoniously into the contours is the black soft-top.

Rear Design

The rear lights are extremely narrow and extend far into the side of the vehicle, while the spoiler evolves harmoniously from the surfaces. As formal design elements rounding off the athletic appearance of the rear are the diffuser and free-form exhaust pipe finishers.

Variable sport steering

The variable sport steering with Servotronic creates a direct and agile steering response and ensures that less physical effort is required to turn the wheel. It reacts to the angle of the steering wheel with varying steering ratios. This improves handling when driving more dynamically and reduces the effort needed to steer when parking and turning.

BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant

Say natural commands to operate numerous vehicle functions. It can also explain topics about your vehicle and helps you to get to know your BMW even better.

Driving Assistant (Optional)

The safety package Driving Assistant includes the camera-based systems front collision warning with braking function, Speed Limit Assist incl. Speed Limit Info with No-overtaking indicator with preview and Lane Departure Warning. Additionally, the radar-based equipment includes Crossing traffic warning rear, Lane Change Warning and Rear collision warning.

BMW Operating System 7

The innovative operating concept of the BMW Operating System 7 enables even easier operation of vehicle functions via e.g. speech, touch screen and iDrive control – very intuitively. For this purpose, the functionality of the Controller has been upgraded. So now the apps menu can be selected directly.

M Sport braking system

The M Sport brake has four-piston fixed callipers at the front and single-piston floating callipers at the rear in blue with the M designation and features large brake discs to ensure an outstanding braking performance.

M Sport differential

The M sport differential optimises traction and driving stability when changing lanes or accelerating out of a bend, when taking bends at high speeds or on different road surfaces. Traction is optimised with the help of an electronically operated device that reduces the difference in revolution speed between the rear wheels.

M Aerodynamics Package

The standard M Aerodynamic package optimises the aerodynamic properties of the vehicle and emphasises the dynamic presence of the roadster. M-specific front apron, rear apron, and side skirts in body colour. Kidney frame in chrome high-gloss with mesh-design BMW kidney. Diffuser insert in Dark Shadow metallic.

BMW Head-Up Display (Optional)

The full-colour BMW Head-Up Display projects information relevant to the journey directly into the driver's field of vision, thereby allowing them to fully concentrate on driving. Information such as the current speed and, depending on the equipment, navigation directions, Speed Limit Info including no-overtaking indicator, along with telephone and entertainment lists are displayed.
